Making Hummus and tahini for the second time – Quick vegan snack

I wanted to do something vegan, easy, cheap and fast. The first time I tried to make hummus and tahini was unsuccessful. The tahini was too strong and the hummus too dry. So I continued to buy the processed hummus.

I´m really trying to cook more, save money, use less plastic, all of it. So I tried again. The second time was delicious👏 I was very proud of myself.

Ingredients used for the Tahini
-1/2 cup of white raw sesame seeds
-Olive oil
First, I toasted the seeds on a pan with olive oil, once done, I crushed them first and blended them until they form a paste.

Hummus ingredients:
400 grams of chickpeas
2 spoons of lemon juice
3 spoons of olive oil
1 spoon of tahini
1 teaspoon of salt, cumin, and paprika 1 garlic

I mix and blend all together with the food processor.

Blended all
Sprinkle with paprika and serve with mini carrots

I had to control myself and not eat the whole thing
